How The Other Half Loves By Alan Ayckborn

A brilliant farce about three suburban couples. The setting is two living rooms that overlap while both
households carry on their lives unaware of each other. Confusion abounds as you watch a dinner
party on successive nights. The comedy is vintage Ayckbourn – an action-packed, brilliantly written
whirlwind which pokes fun at the misgivings and misunderstandings of marriage.

The Art of Murder By Joe DePietro

Everyone who's ever met Jack has thought about killing him. We are talking about the no-talent,
manic, unctuous and abusive painter, Jack Brooks. So how could anyone -- Jack's wife or the maid
-- resist an irresistible urge as Jack climbs into his relaxation tank and closes the lid. Inside, he
floats. The tank looks just like a coffin... The Art of Murder is about the merchandising and the
counterfeiting of art and the plotting and the counter-plotting of murder. Red herrings and surprises
galore.

Bell, Book and Candle By John Van Druten

Gillian Holroyd, casts a spell over an unattached publisher, partly to keep him away from a rival and
partly because she is attracted to him. He falls head over heels in love with her at once, and wants
to marry her. But witches, unfortunately, cannot fall in love, and this leads to a number of difficulties.
Adding to the mix are Gillian's care-free brother, her eccentric aunt, and a down-on-his-luck
author/publisher. Can love conquer all, including witchcraft?

memory. They quickly become entangled in each others' problems - Rudy is re-thinking the
priesthood. Eddie is preparing for fatherhood and Vietnam. Annie is contemplating divorce. Their
mother Ellen considers a new romance. There's rarely a quiet moment in the Pazinski household.

A Hotel On Marvin Gardens By Nagle Jackson

It is April Fool's Day. K.C. and her publisher-lover, Bo, are hosting their annual all-day Monopoly
game. They have invited editor Henry, who brings along the dingbat Food and Restaurant critic. We
follow the game - the board game and the corporate game. K.C. intends to fire Henry after ten years
of service. A knock at the door and a storm-bedraggled girl enters. A young schoolteacher has
been dumped on this island by a frustrated seducer. It is her contrast to these terribly affluent and
sophisticated New Yorkers that eventually leads to a showdown.

I Hate Hamlet By Paul Rudnick

A successful television actor relocates to New York, where he rents a marvelous, gothic apartment
that once belonged to John Barrymore. With his television career in limbo, he is offered the
opportunity to play Hamlet onstage, but he hates Hamlet. Enter Barrymore’s ghost, intoxicated and
in full costume. The contrast between the two, the dissipated Barrymore whose Hamlet was the
greatest of his time and the hot television star, leads to a wildly funny duel over women, art, success,
duty, television, and the apartment.
