Dawn Sauer spent 20 years as a high school teacher until she moved to Florida in 2012. She found the Daytona Playhouse in 2015 in time for auditions for Disaster!. She was cast as Marianne and fell in love with the place and the people! She started volunteering regularly and has tried every position except set construction (definitely not her thing). She has served as Concessions Chairperson, Director-at-Large, and currently serves as VP of Publicity. She lives in Ormond Beach with her husband and enjoys traveling to visit their three sons, daughter-in-laws and two beautiful grandbabies.
