Heather Strickland

Heather joined the playhouse in 2019 when she moved to the area and wanted to do something creative. After auditioning, and performing in a few shows, Heather added usher chairperson to her responsibilities, and has held that position since 2022. In 2023, Heather stage managed Urinetown, and began assisting with the volunteer coordinator role. In 2024, she accepted the role of volunteer coordinator permanently. Heather has also assisted behind stage, set construction, costumes, and house managing. Heather has always wanted to be a part of a community theatre as her great grandparents were in vaudeville, and her parents met in a community theatre. Heather has been married to Wayne for 22 years, and retired from Publix Supermarkets in 2022 after 33 years with the company. Heather and Wayne live in New Smyrna Beach with their furry kids, Sophia and Oliver.
