Description

Celebrated women’s novelist Ken Bixby has made his fortune “understanding women,” but he’s ill-prepared when a forgotten flame returns, prepared to scorch his fame and reputation with the consummation of her “purple passion.”

The director, "Pop" Blyden, had a non-speaking walk-on role as a waiter. In the program, the actor is listed as "Bye Himself".

Written by Allan Scott and George Haight as Goodbye Again. Premiered on Broadway at the Theatre Masque on December 28, 1932. Opened in the West End as Hello Again at the Shaftesbury Theatre on June 13, 1934. Revived as Goodbye Again at the New Amsterdam Roof on November 9, 1943. Revived as Goodbye Again at the Helen Hayes Theatre on April 24, 1956. Adapted to film as Goodbye Again in 1933 by Warner Brothers. Remade as Honeymoon for Three in 1941 by Warner Brothers.
