Written by Arthur Miller. Initial (and unsuccessful) run as a one-act play premiered September 29, 1955 on Broadway at the Coronet Theatre. Revised run as a two-act play premiered at the Comedy Theatre by the New Watergate Club in the West End on October 11, 1956.
