The performance which would have normally been scheduled for Saturday, April 8th was canceled because of concerns about bridge closings and traffic gridlock due to Black College Reunion, an annual event for HBCU alumni, students, and supporters.

Historical Notes

Book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Based on George Bernard Shaw's 1913 play Pygmalion and on the 1938 film adaptation of the play. Premiered on Broadway in 1956 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre. Adapted into a film in 1964.
