Robin Bassett

Robin Bassett is a nephrology nurse practitioner working at Halifax Health in the Kidney Transplant Program. She spend most of her life moving around the country and raised her 2 daughters in Alaska where she served on the board of the Alaska Fine Arts Academy. On returning to Florida, she was delighted to find the Daytona Playhouse. She has enjoyed the many opportunities DPH offers including acting, directing, building, painting, house managing, helping with raffle and concessions and even playing the violin in the pit a few times! For the last several years she has served as VP of Production on the board. She is sometimes joined on stage by her husband Mike Mitchener and when not working or living at the playhouse, she loves to visit the city of Savannah, her Army Pilot daughter in New York or Julia, her retail manager daughter in Denver.
